this book is very gripping and it has many things to focus on. Lei and her dad are stuck on the islands of hawaii and are trying to get back home to their family in Hilo. All technology has failed because of this phenomonon in the sky that is sending meteors and comets down to the islands, people are starting to riot and they group up depending on race.
