It was so clear that people were divided on whether or not Jack and Jackie loved each other in the beginning.

The preface and the first chapter grab you instantly. The quotes at the start of the first chapter from Jack and Jackie, especially Jackie’s in regards to Jack only exemplifies how much she loved him.
