The old man tries to steal a rose. Beast catches him and says he must stay. The old man barters a deal with Beast to go home to get his affairs in order. The old man’s daughter comes back in his stead - Rose. Lucie tricks Beast into scaring Rose, but she stays. A relationship slowly builds.

The Chevalier is transformed into Beast and the main character is transformed into a candle stick. It seems Beast has forgotten who he was. An old man stumbles into the chateau and stays the night. Beast has control of the chateau by magic if he is kind.

The main character feels undeveloped and the timeline seems rushed and vague. There are definitely some triggers and dark undertones. Obviously inspired by The Beauty and the Beast. The main character, Lucie, encounters the Chevalier (Beast) and he takes advantage of her one night. A wise woman in the wood helps her.
