Early thoughts: Peter’s perspective with the heavy horror element is really working for me, especially with the forbidden magick that is embedded in the story. There was a distinct lack of that in The Justice of Kings and I didn’t realize that its addition would have such an impact on my reading experience.

Also, Renata is already infinitely more likeable than Helena ever was, period.
