I’m extremely confused. Is this book not a sequel to the first? How could she have a stack of bills piled up if she just paid everything off with her book deal while also receiving a lump sum from Irina? The lack of continuity is frustrating given that the timeline is only a month after where the first book ended.

I’m confused.. in the first book, Finn mentions she got Delia a goldfish so that Steven would get her a dog. However in the opening of this chapter on the second book she mentions that Steven got the goldfish in order to spite her… is this a continuity error or a shift in how she’s remembering things?!
