I've never done an update halfway but wow this book is INCREDIBLE!! I knew almost nothing about the Vietnam War and very little about the 1960s in general, so I'm learning a lot, and in the best way! Kristin Hannah writes in a way that sucks you into a different world, with shocking and horrifying scenes that will remain vivid images in my mind forever.
