Really fascinating to learn about how important the arts (notably Shakespearean theater, and the music of Wagner) were on his development as a young teenager. Also interesting to hear the stories of his first jobs in factories and as a messenger, and the elation he felt about getting his first raise. Speaks eloquently about earning the trust of his employer! His story of an immigrant being given a chance is timely.

Getting into the sections where he’s talking about his rationale and passion for giving back. He made a conscious effort to stop earning money and start giving it away, and tells the stories of all the ways this was meaningful to him. It’s really interesting.
