Lisa has gone to Brazil and there are too many characters. First we had to be introduced to everyone in Los Angeles and now we have to be introduced to everyone in Brazil. Also, the flippant handling of certain topics is offensive to modern sensibility. I mean, I'm still enjoying reading it but there's no good character to cheer for in this story. Except Freak. Even Roy Hardaway was a creep.
