I just finished book 8 and am ready to tackle book 9. The reading still moves at a breakneck speed. We have moved from freeing the "familiars" to High School kids discovering they have powers. Of course many want to side with the Demons, but not everyone. (3/2)

Book 5, Damaged but Powerful. A petite double female amputee has powers that enable her to pull on the source -- whatever that is! She is one tough cookie! She takes down a demon, and other monsters. This book is obviously a building block or introduction for this character. She will be back.

I think I'm ready for book 4, Early Shift. I could be wrong. The one I just finished had Otto leading a successful escape from the Demon Realm. The major thing I noticed is the successful planting of details early on that made a difference in this book. Next, I was worried there would be more problems, but Otto finally had some success. Onward. Prologue: The Sword of God. pg. 823

I think I've just finished book 3. (2/18) Zac, the Werewolf, is roaming the countryside looking for his own kind. He finds one! It doesn't work out as well as he hoped. I'm moving on the the next book. Somewhere, the powers that be want to recruit him to track the magical creatures of the Realm. I hope we get there soon.

Unleashed magic! Otto's powers are growing. He is immortal. The supernatural world is at war with itself and with the natural world. Fast action, some awkward phrases. Two down, nine to go.
