So, I read up to chapter two...
A bit of long description, but this is fantasy so I was expecting that.
I was not expecting: "He chased the beast..." *three or four paragraphs of referring to prey as "the beast"* *finally kills the thing* *"beast" is revealed to be a hare*
My thoughts: It had better be a mutant hare. But no...
Also quite a bit of mixed sentence structure and my inner editor is screaming.
