Not half way thru the book, I have a different view of John. It's clear he tries to portray a low self esteem yet comes off with the phrase "if you would have told me (I accomplished this or that....) which continues to pat himself on the back. He shut talks Rick Springfield, Jimmy Page, Tony Danza and Bob Saget so far. Might be me but he doesn't paint himself as a good person.
