Yk when you were a kid playing with others and you were like "I'm a magical fairy princess with pink and purple hair and super rare magic powers and no one else is as special as me?" Yeah that's this book

If separatist kids bonded with dragons are proven to be loyal to the empire, then why are they still branded with relics and not allowed to be in groups bigger than three? Shouldn't their proven loyalty absolve them of their parents' sins? And I still maintain that it's dumb to let them in to the rider quadrant at all since one year is plenty of time to gather the classified info they get taught in class but whatever
