ooof reading it a second time just makes me dislike the book, i was surprised i rated it 4/5 the first go and 2 of the other books was lower rated, so i wonder if in my re-reads i will like them even less or actually like them more than this one haha

i still dont understand that joe's wife "abandoned" him and their son 11 years ago it only took 7 years to file for divorce, i feel like thats a awfully long time to be like yup shes not coming back, i get maybe 1-2 years at the most not 7!

i wonder if this new character will be the main character of the 3rd book, they mentioned the location.... foreshadowing? 👀

i dont know if vera villainizing a character is because they actually are suss or cuz of the very obvious other situation going on. it could be both? a suss person can be kind too i guess. i lowkey want it to be both haha

im still thinking the new resident has something to do with this haha

not me thinking a moose got plastic surgery to look like a mink for a solid few seconds before thinking thats not even anywhere remotely doable even in a world of anthropomorphic animals (that for sure would be a wild plot twist though haha)
