A six-chapter, 58-page "prologue" (while most writers and editors debate whether prologues should even be a thing) and then the "story" kicks off with William's POV. And all the action is stopped in its tracks with description dumps. Idc that the person attacking your MC is wearing chucks and just stepped right out of a coffee shop, esp when I barely remember what your MC looks like.
