I think I just need to admit that I prefer this kind of slice-of-life, simple everyday life type story. I’ve been trying the longer serious fantasy books as well, it’s been a bit of a slog. Also it seems like I got through 2/3 of the book just driving to Philadelphia and back yesterday.
