I’m finally back to Dalinar and Adolin! I completely get Dalinar’s decision to abdicate, but since the visions are so important I don’t think it’s the best decision yet. Though Adolin like his father would definitely be the most honorable and competent highprince.

I’m sure something is going to go terribly wrong, but it’s great seeing Kaladin train the bridgemen. Really hope at the very least his plan to gather objects from the chasms works.

It’s been so long since I last read a Stormlight fight scene. Storms and damnation, Kaladin is badass. I’m a little peeved he didn’t take the Shardblade but I get his decision. Lighteyes suck and it was just used to slaughter his squad. He may have missed a lot of opportunities, but he’s justified. He needs a hug.

Okay I just passed the part of chapter 46 where Kaladin rode through the highstorms.

I have a lot to say here. But my theory is that before Tanavast / Honor died, he foresaw a purpose for Kaladin. Maybe like Dalinar and his visions, Kaladin has a purpose foreseen by the Almighty. Something the Stormfather knows.

In Kaladin’s case, his purpose is to do something with the broken and abandoned Oathpact
