This book is testing my shit. Testing my ability to like unlikable characters. And very few books do that. But the way the Captain treats Tom, and John..I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship.
I'm hoping he can be redeemed, but I'm balancing on a knife's edge right now. I'm 100% furious and want him to suffer like he makes everyone else suffer for his pleasure, this is not how a good dom acts.

This series has been sitting on my TBR forever! Would you recommend it?

I would, but if you like really dark stuff I would recommend Better the Devil You Know over this. My mind is yet to be made up, though I don't regret starting it (the first book is amazing and you could stop there without finishing the rest) I haven't made up my mind about the whole series. You might think you have no trigger warnings but this series will test you!
