Dan Schilling's closing chapter is poignant, personal and pointedly blunt. Good ol' American military f'd up again, sending our warriors into war undermanned, under supplied, under informed, under led, and under supported. And then ultimately under utilized and finally dumped aside. I appreciate his direct relating of his experience.

Tim Wilkinson's section is super informative. He doesn't get too personal until closer to the close, but he shares lots of data and experiences. When he does close, it is personal and poignant.

John Belman's section was slightly more abrupt in its telling, as if from a man who did but did not want to relay his story. Filled with actions and memories, it contributes to the ensemble and helps make things so real. He closes by talking about 20 years later he hoped we the American people learned something...but I don't think we're living that unfortunately.
