Despite how long this book is, everything feels underdeveloped

Only took 400 pages for the plot to actually start

So many italics. Also I refuse to feel sad about a character death when that character was basically just introduced

The glossary of the book is already giving me psychic damage.

Wdym she made up new words for day and night and it’s dae and fucking slumber. Not to mention there’s a slew of new words to denote familial ties such as grandmah, grandpah, mah, pah etc.. Sorry I’m not including their meanings as defined in the glossary considering how exotic they are. You don’t need to make up new words for everything…
