The first chapter of this led to a very interesting conversation with my born-again Christian sister (abandoning our agnostic irish catholic ways to give into the protestants...smh). I was curious if my sister thought God expected Eve to actually abstain from eating the fruit, or if he knew from the start she was doomed to eat it. She said it was a test. What I didn't ask my sister was if it was if it was fair.
