Reading this with the kids. I never read the Prydain books and I'm impressed. They are very well written and very Welsh. My favorite quote so far, "'I have marched with many a battle host,' Adaon answered quietly, 'but I have also planted seeds and reaped the harvest with my own hands. And I have learned that there is greater honor in a field well plowed than in a field steeped in blood.'" Very Tolkienien.
