I am DRAGGING myself through this book one unnecessary detailed description of a woman’s body at a time. Why is the author describing every female body? Why is there so much mention of weight gain? Is this satirical? Is there some redeeming arc at the end? There’s no way this book is sitting on peoples’ shelves using this kind of language in 2025. What in the internalized misogyny is this?
