I am so heartbroken. I've been crying non-stop for the past 50 pages..
The writing is so beautiful, the characters truly come alive in the story - but the author is actively using this realism to break our hearts. She is succeeding.

So many people talk about this book as a "MUST READ!", which is honestly the main reason why I'm still reading it at this point - that and my inability to quit a book once I've started it. The truth is, however, I would not recommend this book to somebody else. The writing is so good, but it's so emotionally destructive to get through this... why torture yourself?

We're stacking trigger warnings like pancakes here: say hi to drug abuse!! Honestly, this is the TW I struggle the most with out of all the ones so far.. I cringed and shivered at previous parts, but here is the first point where I'm considering stopping this read. Knowing me, I'll probably keep trying to push through though

She's giving us such an excruciatingly small amount of information at the time. I am hooked. And obsessed.

This is so scary but so cute... prep the defribillator for when my heart will inevitably stop 🤓
