i honestly wish the parents love story was different 😭 but hoping the book sort of gives us the same star crossed lovers for them!! also mu sheng u are quite interested in our adorable miaomiao, right 🤭 hehe she's the best fr 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ if u hurt her, IM COMING FOR YOU 😤

ok so gotta admit that having watched the drama first, i definitely had zero qualms about mu sheng’s pretty concerning behavior cause i know he meant no harm. but. BUT the whole bamboo forest arc has me retracting my previous feelings. cause that was pure enraging no matter what. i know she wouldn’t be hurt, but still that is so traumatic!! ziqi i hate you 😖

just realized the only reason i did not hate mu sheng/ziqi when i started the drama was cause in my head he was simply a character and he had zero control over who he was and so it was useless to hate him...? (and also his very colorful, mainly yellow clothing, but we don't talk about that 🤭)

ahh, reading it is bringing me back memories of the show, and it's so much fun!! also, i see there were a lot of add ons in the show :)
