Notes:
(1) Being about light and darkness, I understand the impulse to go nuts with digital flare effects. The thing is, I really hate them.
- I'm annoyed by glare generally, especially light off a glossy page.
(2) It's such a Snyder cliché to frame a story with philosophy for gravitas.
- That said, waxing poetic about the stages of experimental inquiry is a bridge too far.

Notes:
(1) One of these days I'll muster up the courage to read through this whole thing again... or maybe not. This isn't exactly the easiest series to get through.
- It's just that consuming the whole thing in one go is really the only way to read it and not feel frustrated and/or totally lost.
- Bottom line, this is not a series suited for breaks in between installments.

Notes:
(1) You know, I wrote in my status update for issue #12 that this is definitely a series that reads better in trade. I take that back.
- At least at the start here, even with an included recap, I have only the vaguest idea what's going on.
- Though, I may still be correct in that this would definitely be more clearly understood in omnibus or binge-read from issue #1.

Notes:
(1) Okay, I guess it's time to read this. I've been putting this off for the longest time.
- I've read this already in singles, and I'll usually read issues again in trade to prep for the next run, but the series ended (there was no next run) and so I just forgot about it.
- Plus the ending didn't exactly light my world on fire. Frankly, I don't remember any of this.
