It’s not that I didn’t know it was coming, progressing, giving me time to prepare. I must tell you GR Friends that I have reached the end of Leon Forrest’s The Bloodworth Orphans. A bitter sweet tragedy.

What a world to live in. No one writes like him leaving the charred remains. The seared skin. The ravings in the woods.

I knew from, Ancient Tree, the searing burns, the hands melting into words, this was not a book for me now. There was a time, moments ago I could have stopped. Now it is too late.
