i'll be sooo honest. it took me four years of owning *caraval* to read it, and i genuinely picked it up like six times during those years, trying to force myself to read it, but i just couldn't get past chapter 3. i ended up pushing through one day, read it, and it was okay! but i don't know what it is about *legendary*, but i'm actually really enjoying it! this time around, i've been reading it for like 3-4 days, and i'm nearly done. i'm so invested in the plot and what's gonna happen, but i 100% think it's the writing style that's the issue.
