Something about reading like a chill 50 pages but only getting like 20 pages further into the book bc 30 pages were footnotes is just wow.

This is taking me forever bc it’s dense and nonsensical and I don’t want to let myself skim by accident. The random mass references make it so much more fun for me tho like yessss au bon pain near Copley square mmmmm walpole

I’ve been alternating btwn reading and audiobook and wow the audio book just went through a footnote/notes section that was 30 minutes straight of made up movie titles and info about them. Actually 30 minutes. Happy I got the audio book for this portion tho bc some of those titles/film premises were really funny
