It is very difficult to listen to Ye old English at 1.75x speed. But anything less is infuriating. When two people speak, Austen doesn’t say “Mary said” or “Elizabeth said” so I have to rewind to figure out who’s talking. I think I might be too easily distracted to be able to stay focused during long sentences. Also, Mr. Bennett - “I have not the pleasure of understanding you.” I CACKLED!
