I keep thinking the climax is near but I know more bad stuff has to happen cuz I got 200 pgs still

I find myself bored of Jake's story and sad for July's I can tell the mention of Ogallala in all the groups means that might be the big meet up place later

I love Augustus more and more every chapter and saving lorie smjust solidified it.
Also Nebraska weather mentioned and only a week removed from a blizzard in spring.
Seeing the characters die and the giant ensemble get dwindled down is sad. It really makes the looming threat of blue duck more present

It's like Avengers infinity war on the western front

I love gus. He always says the funniest quips and the interactions between him and the captain are always good. Everytime a new character is introduced they just jump off the page every time. It's just like in Demon slayer. How after a Demon dies there's a backstory immediately but in this case it's every single time a new character is first in a scene that character will then immediately have a rich backstory/motive

This story is just about to get started I can feel it!
