I didn't realize this wasn't a book for adult thriller fans until now 😅 As a YA mystery this is making more sense now. The lead character is so cringe calling her slightly younger sister a "youngin" and comments about she needs to supervise her etc. A 17 year old reading this would absolutely see their 15 year old sibling as significantly younger . Enjoying the mystery but not the cringy MC
