The start of this can only be described as a jump scare. Why is it reading like a textbook and already making me worried that this world is overly complicated. Then you get to chapter 1 and it’s just TRAUMA. Right out the gate. Don’t get me wrong I’m hooked. But that was a very rough and weird start
