yeah, if you want black representation so badly, then create original black characters, but it needs creativity, so they just lazily race-swap, it just feels like casting works on diversity quota these days instead of people who actually fit the part

@August That's exactly what it is smh. The remake is so stupid anyway. Nobody asked for it? Sure, the orginal movies are flawed but they're so comforting. There's something so charming about them that I doubt they'll be able to recreate. If you really wanna make something HP gives us a new story! People have been begging for Marauders content for how long now? I'm sure people would eat that up just as much if not more than the new series. There would certainly be more hype. But writing a new story would be too much effort I guess, so let's just remake another perfectly fine story.

personally, I've been done with HP content for years now, and with all the controversies around JKR, I don't think anything new is gonna come out, I don't mind the series, the main complaint with the movies was they left out a lot from the books, atleast with the show they can show them in their entirety, IF they are competent enough

@August Yeah JKR is awful, and I can definitely see where you're coming from, a lot was left out from the movies.
