Well, that was a surprise. Well. A bunch of different surprises. Usually Derr's romance component leaves me bereft: after super good build-up, I'm dumped near the end. This one was surprisingly interesting and likeable plot-wise, and surprisingly fast-paced, but the romance, ugh. Me and Derr just don't have a rhythm going. This romance was wtf-fast with the physical: so unbelievable and unsexy.
