Curious about your thoughts on this book when you finish it. I just read it a few months ago.

I'm pretty sure I first heard of it and added it to my library holds when I saw you reading it on here, actually! I thought it was a good surface-level overview and pep talk, and I appreciated the sections on what not to stress about, but I thought the repeated note of "this technology will save us" invites some skepticism -- especially since the book sometimes suggests that social changes are needed but doesn't go all that deep in suggesting how to, for instance, reduce per capita demand for meat. I think the biggest strengths of this book came in tying together the many threads that lead to agriculture/food systems and also pointing out that some things that feel important (e.g. minimizing single-use plastic) are not as critical as they appear.
