My husband grabbed this at random for me at the library. I haven't read any of the previous Hunter series before and I'm not sure if I frowned, groaned or smirked a bit - or all three when his character was first introduced and described as being "tall, athletically built, with sharp, chiseled (yes chiseled), attractive features and kind eyes." Yes I know it's a thriller and I am in the process of lightening up.
