Outstanding novel demonstrating the prowess of Gonzalez with a police procedural,serial killer thriller, and an integrated helping of blood, gore and more, while all the while keeping the reader captivated and trying to figure out the identify of the sickest sexual predator imaginable. "Fetish" x 10 on our murderer in this one. Superlative command of the narrative with great character development and pacing.

The narrative continues to be compelling and it is like teading about this event unfolding in front of you. The FBI Task Force is without a solid lead. The horrific mutilation murders are continuing with an escalation in the sexual predator's post-mortem dismemberments. He disemboweled his latest victim after the decapitation. Then he cut open the chest cavity and ripped out the victim's heart.

38% in on "Fetish" by the legendary horror author J.F.Gonzalez. This is a highly readable novel and it is a storyline that you begin reading and simply lose track of time. In general it is a serial killer thriller with a strong police procedural feel. Rich characterization of the main characters, a likeable LA Homicide Detective and Investigative Journalist. Extreme horror and FBI manhunt interwoven into the plot.
