I don’t see how this is classified as a Hades and Persephone retelling. The only links made to that have been that MMC is referred as the monster/king of forever/night and that the FMC feels trapped and has a liking for gardening. I think the links to Throne of Glass and ACOTAR are more obvious. Overall, not too bad, but not great so far.
