there’s a typo on this page that’s driving me nuts. i don’t know what the sentence was supposed to say originally.
“she tried soothe me. but her voice was too restrained to comfort.”
was it supposed to be “she tried to soothe me” or “she tried soothing me” ? also, shouldn’t that be one sentence?
