I’m enjoying the back and forth in time dates between Anne’s relationship with the people she’s come to know in Chelyabinsk. It might not seem meaningful to others in regard to the fact she really has only mentioned this one large city in Russia. But any knowledge about the history, tribulations, triumphs & struggles people have faced since the USSR collapse is well-informative for me!
