some discoveries this time through (spoilers)
- halfway through my first read, I said that pacing-wise, I felt like I should be nearly done, and I'm feeling that again. Definitely feels like I should be at least halfway.
- I remembered the winter saga being part of the slog around the 2/3 mark, but it was very early
- Bunny dies a lot later than I remembered
- Most of what I remember in the book has already happened

Side note, I feel like I've read 3/4 of a massive novel and yet I'm only on page 275, which is barely less than halfway through the book? HOW?

I'm legitimately in love with this book, even as dark and twisted as it is.

That took an... interesting... turn.

I think I said this in my update last night as well, but I absolutely love the overall mood/tone/atmosphere of this novel. It's not the type of writing that I typically gravitate toward, but it's just about as intoxicating as the drinks the characters are constantly throwing back.

Something about the writing in this book is just so intoxicating even though it isn't the type of writing I typically enjoy. Really digging this so far.
