Story 3: Yaxley's Cat
In the fens of East Anglia, a London mum and her two kids spend their holidays in the cottage of a man who was the local cunning man until he disappeared 7 years previously. Now the village thinks SHE is a witch. Lovely set up, but once again, a bit of a jump in logic about the paranormal bits

Story 1: Blackham's Wimpey
One of Westall's WW2 memory stories about a British bomber (a Wimpey) haunted by the ghost of the German Junker pilot it gunned down. Great characterisation, the RAF detail and what it was like to fly a Wimpey, but a bit rushed-vague on the mechanics of the haunting. Too far out of left field to be really good.
