I didn't expect it to be an actual horror book, like the house IS the killer, and not a killer in the house if yk what I mean. I thought it would be a detective/crime book. But in the end, it's not that bad, but it's not for me either. But I'll keep reading it.

THE HOUSE GOT SOME LORE. I don't want to spoiler anything, but the house is literally trying to eat them. and the characters have A LOT of secrets.
