if I had a nickel for every time one of Sanderson's male protagonists was responsible (or viewed himself as responsible) for a love interest's death that happened before the start of the book, I'd have 3 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened three times.

I really like how Brandon Sanderson's handle the trope, We’re Not So Different, You and I ,for Wax and the "Big Bad" Miles of this book. I know it is overused trope but the way he handled it was golden.

I am glad that Brandon Sanderson didn't make Wayne character just the comedy relief. But an actual human being with depth

Imagine being the person who went to Ladrian Manor after the explosion in Alloy of Law to check for survivors and just finding Wayne's entire back chilling there in the debris.
