I feel like there should be a rule for time travelers not to be massive, obvious idiots.
If somebody answered me "Far away, very far away" when I ask them where they're from, my immediate next question would be about the location of their time machine.

Somehow there's a weird vibe with novels describing authors and the publishing industry. As if they wanted to describe a book they really wanna write but don't have the required knowledge to do so, which oddly shows in the vague way the fictional authors talk about their fictional books.
