I’m glad this book exists but………….there’s something cold, dead, and perverse about poetry like this. it *feels* lacking in rigour. somehow, the anger and horror feels masturbatory, the cadence comes across as ‘cute’, and the form is utterly flaccid. I-am-woman-hear-me-roar——I-am-queer-so-beware ass poetry.
