This is so good. I’m really not sure why people say this is so confusing. I feel like this is some of the best world building I’ve ever read. Though I’m sure I’m missing lots of stuff. This is the same thing I said about Gideon though, and then I was smacked over the head by Harrow, so maybe the super confusing part is yet to come.

Really liking this so far! I expected this to take me a long time to get into (which is often the case for the first book in a high fantasy series), but this had a really strong start. Yes, it’s a lot, and I don’t understand what’s happening yet, but it’s not really confusing.
