This is already one of the best nonfiction books I have read. There is art about every other page, which makes reading the narrative extra engaging. I've learned so much, too - did you know the reason the National Gallery has Mary Cassatt's art is because her family (even women!) campaigned AGAINST women's suffrage so she wrote them out of her will and donated all her paintings? Now you do!
