GWISE book club! (Graduate women in stem and engineering)
Jumping into my thoughts at this point of the book:
It’s astonishing but also so fitting to see Professor Playfair’s theatrical personality turn into gross, public cruelty/maiming of students HE taught and saw grow in HIS classes. The disregard for human life across Babel makes me anticipate the time they’ll all be taken down.

It was wild to see her needing comfort after hearing atrocities that would never happen to her or anyone who looked like her ✋🏼?? GO COMFORT YOUR FRIENDS why do YOUUU need THEM to comfort YOUUU ??? I do not feel sympathy smh, it’s not about you girl 😭

Spoilers ahead, I need to yap:
I knew Anthony wasn’t dead I KNEW ITTT. Idk why Robin didn’t think so, especially after what Griffin said would happen to all Babel-Hermes recruits.
Also I don’t think griffin killed Evie. He couldn’t get the invisibility bar to work, so how could he get that bomb one to work and kill her… I DO NOT BELEIVE IT!
I’m so sad Robin told professor Lowell about the safe house.
