I was just thinking about how I didn’t read a lot during the first 6 months of 2026 because I was talking to a guy, and then when I stop talking to him (bc he couldn’t communicate and it was driving me crazy), the 1st week I read 5 books. Are they long books? No, but they’re books and I’m reading and focusing on me again. It’s bittersweet but I’m glad this series is still here for me.

How the heck is any of this happening? Idk what's going on and why the cops haven't been called on this Mill or on how the children are being treated!

I wanted to read a different book before continuing in this series, but I googled what happens to Count Olaf--I know I shouldn't do that, but I had to because it was driving me crazy--and now I need to know why google doesn't have a straight answer. I like both options, but I need to know what is true.
